my brain hurts

well, holidays are pretty much over now. i turned 24, and the world kicked over to 2009. so far things haven't changed much. the main thing is that i have gotten sick. today i am nursing a headache and getting ready to drive back to california tomorrow. it should be pretty unfun if my eyes still hurt as bad as they do today.
clearly, i like to whine on the internets.
how has everyone else's xmas/newyears been? any cool presents? someone out there must have something.

yeah. sadly i've been at my parent's house so it has been pretty boring for the most part. i did go to a show with my brother on my birthday, but had to drive back here afterwards so not really drunk at all.
